Welcome to ROMAN DODECAENDRON!

Our hero must learn the mystery of how to unlock the true powers of the Roman dodecahedron! But time is not on his side. The Roman Empire and all of its far reaching power are wanting to remove not only the religious artifact from existence but all the ancient druids that held it sacred and want to use it to protect the ancient Celtic forests. 

The Roman Empire was normally marked by its inclusivity. Romans were generally tolerant of local religions and customs, allowing conquered peoples to maintain their traditions so long as they acknowledged Roman authority. But this was something that the realm of the Celtic Druids would never accept. The Roman armies where coming and cutting down the Holy forests and great oak trees of ancient time. But one hope still remains. The Roman dodecahedron held the power to defend the Celtic people, even against the Roman Empire.

The game is based around a real historical object.  

Researchers have long been puzzled by the Roman dodecahedron. More than 100 of these strange 12-sided metal objects have been found throughout Europe—but their purpose remains unclear. 

A roman dodecahedron has never been found in Rome, or even in the whole of Italy. There is very little record of the artifact. The ancient Romans were one of the few civilizations before the modern era that kept meticulous records of everything. To this day historians are uncovering sources that detail almost insane levels of record keeping by the Roman state.

So then why is there no record of the Roman dodecahedron? That is the true pulling force of the subject matter of the game!
